Workplace Accidents: Can I File a Wrongful Death Lawsuit?

Sadly, last week, a driving instructor working on Walt Disney World property was killed in a vehicle accident at the Exotic Driving Experience.

According to the Associated Press, a Lamborghini driven by a customer crashed into a guardrail, killing Gary Terry, 36, a senior manager for the Exotic Driving Experience, which is owned by Petty Holdings LLC. The attraction operates south of the Magic Kingdom parking lots.

The news outlet reported that Tavon Watson, 24, of Kissimmee, lost control of the vehicle while he was attempting to maneuver it through the course. Watson, who was also injured in the crash, was treated at a local hospital and released. Terry died at the scene of the accident.

It should be noted that the Exotic Driving Experience allows theme park goers to drive high-powered cars like Lamborghinis, Porsches and Ferraris around tracks, along with an instructor. The crash remains under investigation.
