Robert Rivera

Overview

I am located in the Orlando office and travel to all our offices in Central Florida. I have represented Insurance Companies defending Workers Compensation claims against employers and insurance companies. I also have prior experience as a Civil litigation attorney representing large financial institutions.

Experience

I have handled thousands of civil claim involving car loans, past due credit cards, mortgages, student loans and medical loans. I have handled dozens of claims against my clients involving violations of collection laws. I have also handled several appeals for large lending institutions. I have handled hundreds of Workers Compensation claims from the first report to the insurance company, through Trials and settlement of the claim. My legal experience coupled with my deep insurance knowledge and understanding of the internal workings of the insurance industry give me invaluable insight and unique perspective on handling all aspects of representation of injured workers in workers’ compensation matters.

Education

Majored in Finance with minors in economics and accounting at the University of Miami. Member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, member of the University of Miami Varsity Cheerleading squad. While in Law School, member of the Hispanic Law Student Association.
