Julie Elizabeth Bauman

Attorney Julie Elizabeth BaumanJulie Elizabeth Bauman is an Associate Attorney at McBride, Scicchitano, & Leacox, P.A. Ms. Bauman has lived in Florida for over 20 years. In 2000, Ms. Bauman received a scholarship to attend the University of Central Florida, where she studied Spanish, Public Relations, and Marketing.

After earning her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Bauman decided to go to law school so that she could combine her love of problem solving, languages, and writing. In 2010, she earned a Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. She was then admitted by the Supreme Court of Florida to practice law.

During law school, Ms. Bauman was awarded a Florida Bar Fellowship at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, and also completed a Judicial Internship at the Seminole County Courthouse. In addition, Ms. Bauman served as an Advanced Student Advocate for one year at the Barry University Immigration Clinic. At the Immigration Clinic, Ms. Bauman successfully represented clients in Immigration Court and was exposed to many different Immigration legal issues.

After law school, Ms. Bauman worked as an Associate Attorney for a small law firm handling civil law matters, and gained invaluable court experience arguing in front of Judges in over 10 different Florida counties.

Ms. Bauman is compassionate and understands the Immigration and family-related issues that Latin Americans often face here in the United States, as her husband is a Venezuelan-American who came here at age 18 to build a better life. At McBride, Scicchitano, & Leacox, P.A., Ms. Bauman practices Immigration Law and Family Law.
